Get a woman training as an entrepreneur for $20

You most likely grew up with an education and no matter what level you have attained, I am sure it has empowered you in some way. So is the nature of learning. In the most remote parts of the rural developing world, schools are few and far between and most education takes the form of the lessons past on from family members. When those lessons are insufficient or when family abandons someone, the gap in knowledge can mean the difference between life and death. More than anything else these women need skills-based entrepreneurial training that will allow them to believe in themselves and begin to take control of their own lives.

Please know that 100% of your donation goes to programs that empower local people. Here are some examples of how we will spend your $20:

•Hiring local social workers to train women
•Developing training materials
•Conducting training sessions (including buying Coke and Fanta to motivate the students)

In all these activities we only use local people to affect change and we work to build economies of scale (meaning the more people we can help, the less it costs to help each of them individually).
